I hope you enjoy my new theme for August based on the Tomorrowland attraction Adventure Thru Inner Space. Although I never got to ride (it closed in 1985), I’ve always wanted to hop in the Atomobiles and sing along to “Miracles from Molecules”. The picture above features the mighty microscope’s shrinking tube. Supposedly, many guests actually thought they would shrink down to that miniature size, but they were in fact just little figurines. One cast member claimed that a lady waited patiently once to see her son wave to her from inside the tube. 

Adventure Thru Inner Space was eventually replaced by Disneyland’s Star Tours in 1987. It’d be cool to see Disney bring back this fabulous ride.

I was going through my Dream Along with Mickey pictures and then this happened. Mickey and the bubble girl are the same person.
