If you were a kid growing up in the 90s then you’re probably just as much in love with the Lion King as I am. This movie… There aren’t words to describe how big and amazing it really is. Most adults would just pass over cartoons all together and dismiss them as childish. Not the Lion King. It was a phenomenon that brought in a vast majority of viewers because of the incredible animation, catchy music, and interesting story. Even today it is still the highest grossing hand drawn movie of all time. Isn’t that something?  I’m proud to say that I grew up during the Modern Classics era of Disney. So, maybe this isn’t really a SimpleDisneyThing - it’s an EPIC Disney Thing. And I know that I’m going to flip out on September 16 because I will finally get to see this movie in stunning 3D.
